With its 8″ cone speaker with 1.75″ voice coil, the FO 8 provides a solid foundation for speech or near-field sound reinforcement and balanced mids in combination with the S112, S118 or S218 subwoofers.
The BEM-optimized constant directivity horn with the powerful 1″ compression driver, which is well-known from the CONTOUR X series, specially developed for the rough and tumble of touring, has a dispersion angle of 80° x 60° and thus delivers a large sound area without causing excessive acoustic excitation on the walls or ceilings.
The horn can be rotated, meaning that the FO 8 can be used upright, on its side or with altered horizontal and vertical dispersion. The compact speaker can therefore always be positioned optimally, even in small or architecturally complex rooms.
• Compact, passive 2-way speaker
• Support for Lab.Gruppen IPX and LEA Professional with DSP Presets and other DSP platforms with Filter Sheets in open table format
• Rotatable, BEM-optimized constant-directivity HF of the latest generation from the CONTOUR X family
• All-new passive crossovers with self-healing HF protection circuit for maximum operational reliability in fixed installations
• Swivel and tilt wall bracket allows space-saving and visually appealing installation with precise alignment options at the same time
• Matching U-brackets allow for flown installation on ceilings, with the brackets allowing for precise angle adjustments
• Hole pattern on the back in the internationally standardised VESA format for attaching additional mounting accessories required for the particular application
• An external 35 mm stand flange can be attached so that the new FINEO speakers can be fitted to existing installations with appropriate wall brackets
• Extremely solid enclosures in acoustically beneficial MDF and foam-backed grille with additional steel reinforcements
• Standard design with 2 lockable Neutrik Speakon sockets
• Simulation data for EASE and EASE FOCUS for predicting sound distribution and speech intelligibility as planning support for larger projects
• Certified ball-impact resistant in line with DIN 18032-3 =+=
