Description

The 6416dio Digital I/O Module provides sixteen channels of digital inputs and sixteen channels of digital outputs to and from a Pro64®audio network in a single 2U package, using the AES3 digital format. With its exceptional clock performance, the 6416dio meets the needs of digital console and recording workstation users in a wide range of applications.

Simply connect the 6416dio to a Pro64 network with a Cat-5e cable and it’s ready to use; no complex addressing or programming is required. Digital data is transmitted throughout the network using A-Net®, Aviom’s audio transmission protocol deigned for the demands of streaming high fidelity real-time digital audio.

The 6416dio Digital I/O Module provides sixteen channels of AES3 format digital inputs and outputs to and from a Pro64®audio network. The input and output sections of the 6416dio module can be independently configured to operate within a specified 16-channel A-Net Slot range or programmed using the matrix in the free Pro64 Network Manager software for maximum routing versatility. Each input channel of a 6416dio can be made active on the Pro64 audio network as needed. =+=
