At EARF Audio, we specialise in supplying and installing residential, professional, and commercial audio-visual equipment and systems across the UK.
Established at the start of 2023, we are a proud, family-run business based in Cheshire, with a close-knit team of three: Tim (father), Aidan (son), and lifelong friend Andy. United by a shared passion for music production, DJing, and high-quality sound reproduction, we bring a wealth of expertise to every project.
Staging a live music performance requires a wide array of equipment and careful planning to ensure smooth execution and an engaging experience for the audience. Here’s a comprehensive selection of equipment you might need.
Setting up a well-equipped music studio involves gathering the right equipment and creating an environment that promotes creativity and sound quality. Here’s a selection of equipment you may need:
Professional and commercial audio equipment varies based on application, but all share the goal of delivering high-quality, reliable sound. Whether in a recording studio, live venue, broadcast studio, or commercial space, the right gear ensures clarity, power, and precision in audio performance.

Mid-High Cabinet
The FBT MITUS 152A two-way bi-amplified speaker system shall incorporate 1 x 15 B&C neodymium woofer with 3 voice coil and 2 exit B&C neodymium driver with 2.5 voice coil coupled to a rotatable 60° x 40° horn; thanks to the rotatable HF horn it is possible to create horizontal arrays of 2 enclosures for a total coverage of 100°.
The FBT MITUS 152A shall meet the following performance criteria: Frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz, Maximum SPL of 136 DB, 1100W RMS + 250W RMS class D amplifiers. The FBT MITUS 152A Provides a DSP with 6 EQ presets.
The FBT MITUS 152A feature 0.59″ baltic birch plywood construction covered in a scratch & scuff resistant black finish; the front shall be protected by a heavy duty metal grille with anti-resonance spacers and exclusive synthetic cloth to protect the drivers. The control panel provides XLR input & link, level, preset, delay, HP filter.
The 12 M10 anchoring points built into the cabinet allow the FBT MITUS 152A speaker to be surface mounted on ceilings and a standard 1.38″ speaker stand socket allows the FBT MITUS 152A to be mounted on speaker stands.
Subwoofer
For larger spaces, the ground-stacked VHA 118.2 SA is an exceptionally powerful and versatile subwoofer that sets a new standard for SPL to size ratio. Comprising a single 18 B&C woofer, the birch plywood, bass reflex sub again deploys a laminar air-flow for refined performance, while it’s 2,500W Class-D amplifier module offers a selection of six entirely rewritten preset algorithms.
The design of the VHA 118.2 SA has produced a unique low-end module that is capable of generating extremely high levels of SPL for prolonged periods. Using BEM finite element simulations, FBT has optimised the woofers load volume, while careful study of the grille and the assemblies protective fabric have minimised acoustic impedance for a net improvement in performance compared to previous models. The addition of the VHA 118.2 SA extends the overall system frequency response to 30 Hz, while the sub can support fully ground-stacked configurations courtesy of special integrated mounting hardware.
